About us

It all began with a casual conversation about doing something fun and "Minnesotan" while on a family trip to Europe. The idea of hiding loons came up, but we couldn't find little loons anywhere. So, we started a painting project, and transformed mini ducks into loons. Through conversations with friends the concept morphed into a full on adventure tracking and website creation, alas, to the LOON and back was born. 

We are a fun loving family of four that calls Minnesota home. We have been on many adventures through the US and were lucky enough to travel to England as a part of a big 50th wedding anniversary celebration.
